Threat of recession facing UK economy

Commons Committee gives support to vehicle excise duty increases

Firms urged to prepare for payroll changes

Employers are to get a letter from HM Revenue and Customs explaining the new tax codes and rate bands that must be used from the first payday on or after 7 September.
